At Mid-Atlantic Packaging, we’re always looking for ways to make our customers happy. And that includes finding ways to speed up the process of printing customized shopping bags and other packaging supplies.
We understand you need your products as soon as possible, and we also understand that for most businesses, any way at all to lower operating costs is both appreciated and undeniably helpful.
It’s important to us that we’re able to communicate just how much high quality, gorgeous retail shopping bags and customized packaging can benefit your business. A recent study from Westrock shows that:
• 64% of shoppers tried a new product because they were drawn to its packaging, and
• 41% of shoppers purchased a product a second time because of a positive experience with packaging
So, if you’re thinking of investing in customized retail packaging for your business, it’s pretty clear that one single decision can positively impact your profits while helping to build your brand recognition. Win, win.
In this post, we want to educate our new and potential customers about the printing process – and we want to make sure you know about a special promotion we’re offering!
We’ve decided to offer complimentary printing plates when customers want to switch from their current packaging supplier.
Sound too good to be true? We assure you, one thing we NEVER joke about is saving money.
To determine if you’re eligible and to learn more about this exclusive limited time offer, and to come away with an understanding of what exactly a printing plate is and how it relates to a custom design, read on!
First Thing’s First: What Exactly Is a Printing Plate?
We know that to many of our customers, at first some of our lingo can feel a bit overwhelming.
Don’t worry – we’re here to break it down for you.
Essentially, printing plates are used to transfer your customized design onto your retail shopping bags or other customizable product – they’re what your design is “printed” from. Printing plates mean you don’t need to create a new plate (basically, a new “stamp” of your design) every time you reorder. Once we’ve created the plate, we’ll keep it on file for you and your business, which will help to speed up the re-order process.
At Mid-Atlantic Packaging, we offer both hot stamping and ink printing options. In the most basic terms, hot stamping means that a matte, gloss, or metallic foil is heated and then pressed onto a shopping bag or other customizable product. Ink printing, on the other hand, will leave you with a matte, flat look – as though the design has just been “printed” on the bag.
Both hot stamping and ink printing are excellent options, depending on the complexity of the art and the quantity of the order. You might also take into consideration the type of retail shopping bag you’re using in order to figure out which method you prefer. Still not 100% clear? If you’re more of a visual learner, you can check out the hot stamping process by watching this video.
Now, More About the Promotion
Now that you’re an expert on the actual process of ink printing and hot stamping, we want to tell you a little bit more about the promotion we’re offering .
Here are the basics:
While some restrictions will apply, here’s the basic gist: we buy the plates for you and, based on your art, have new plates created – as long as you want to keep your current design, you won’t have to reorder plates with the exact same customization from us. Please note that we will not be able to offer this deal if you’re making any changes to your current customized artwork.
Keep in mind that every color you’ve chosen to include in your design will require its own, separate plate. Meaning, if you have, for example, three colors, you’ll need to purchase three separate printing plates.
Wrapping It All Up!
We hope you’ve come away not just with an understand of what printing plates are and how they work to transfer your design to your custom retail shopping bags, but also with a desire to work with us at Mid-Atlantic Packaging so you and your business can benefit from this promotion.
